Warrior Medicine Clinic 

The Ramstein Warrior Medicine Clinic serves as a premier medical hub for the global gateway and is the largest active-duty outpatient clinic in United States Air Force Europe. Our two primary care elements provide comprehensive services for a diverse and critical population, including the:

  • 86th Airlift Wing’s 7,000 active duty service members,
  • 210 geographically separated units, and
  • More than 3,000 personnel TDY or deployed within Germany. 

Yielding 36,000 annual appointments and supporting approximately 500 deployments annually, we directly enable the DOD's $7.8B global airlift mission. Our dedication to optimizing medical readiness and delivering high-quality care ensures lethal power projection and operational success across three Combatant Commands. 

Our Services

We deliver care focused on wellness, readiness, and acute medical needs, including: 

  • Routine primary care and preventive services 
  • Deployment-related care and individual medical readiness support 
  • Profiles, duty limitations, and return-to-duty evaluations 
  • Women’s health services 
  • Coordination of specialty care and referrals 

Active Duty Sick Call

Sick call is available for acute illnesses or injuries that have developed within the last 5 days. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Common cold
  • Coughs
  • Sore throat
  • Uncomplicated fever
  • Nausea/vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Rashes
  • Stomach aches
  • Muscle strains
  • Sprains
  • New onset pain
  • Sexually transmitted infections
  • shaving-induced exacerbations
  • Urinary tract infection 

Sick call is intended for new, acute conditions only. There is a licensed Physical Therapist available to assess and treat acute musculoskeletal injuries. Chronic conditions, medication refills, and administrative needs should be addressed through scheduled appointments.

  • Check-in: Daily (Monday–Friday) from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
  • Location: Building 2121 
  • Priority: Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis 
  • Closures: Training days, federal holidays, and any other designated clinic closures 

Walk-In Services

We offer walk-in services for small procedures or testing that don’t require PCM intervention or evaluation. Our medical technicians and nurses assist with pregnancy confirmation, injections, cryotherapy for warts, ear irrigation, blood pressure checks, and EKGs for cardiac follow-ups. 

  • Check-in: Daily (Monday–Friday) from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
  • Location: Building 2114, 2nd Floor 
  • Closures: Training days, federal holidays, and any other designated clinic closures 

Primary Care Behavioral Health

Our Primary Care Behavioral Health team services address emotional and mental health problems that impact overall health. Behavioral Health Consultants are a key part of the primary care team. They collaborate with your PCM to address life stressors, sleep issues, unhealthy lifestyle behaviors, and chronic health concerns to help you get back to feeling like yourself again. 

All appointments can be scheduled through:

  • Your assigned care team through MHS GENESIS messaging
Of note, we currently do not offer MHS GENESIS Patient Portal appointment booking. 

Emergencies

For any emergencies, call 112 or go to the nearest emergency room. Please notify your PCM team within 24 hours or the next duty day.  If you need medical advice after hours, call the MHS Nurse Advice Line at 1-800-TRICARE (874-2273). They are available 24/7 for guidance and care coordination.
